I’m a television editor in non-scripted television. I began my career at MTV Networks as an intern in 2001. I would soon be hired as a production assistant, working my way up to Associate Producer, before eventually becoming a Producer. I had the privilege to work on series like Diary, Made, Sex2K, Ultra Sound and the Uncensored Series, as well as work on specials like Teen People’s Hottest 25 Under 25 and Mariah Carey Special: Through the Rain. During my time at MTV, I got the opportunity to work both in the field as a shooter and director, as well in post, scripting and edited episodes.
After working on shows at both VH1 and MTVU, I made the decision to become a freelance editor, beginning with a long stint on MTV’s My Super Sweet 16. In time, I was able to edit shows for a variety of networks like Bravo, Lifetime, A&E, TLC and Discovery.
Over the last decade, I’ve been fortunate enough to work primary for two companies, editing three long-time running series, beginning with Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta (North/South) and most recently Diesel Brothers and Master Distillers (both for Magilla Entertainment). Because of these relationships, I have been working remotely in Connecticut since 2017.

While I have some experience working with Final Cut and Premier, Avid has been the primary editing software I have used since the early days of MTV.

Thanks to my background as a producer, I consider myself more than a gloried button pusher. Whether I’m editing a show about a young woman finding that perfect dress, two men trying to build a badass truck or a defendant taking the stand, I’m a storyteller.

As mush as I fear that AI will one day take my job, I have learned how to use AI for my job, specializing using NightCafe. I’m also proficient in Photoshop.
